I'm Alexandre Perrot, founder of Pictosso.

For years, I have worked as a data visualization developer, including for PlayStation, helping transform complex data into clear, beautiful and meaningful visual stories.

In my work, design is never just decoration. Every element on a dashboard has a role. Every shape, color, position and visual detail helps tell a story, reveal an insight or guide someone toward understanding something important.

During Covid, like many people, I suddenly had more time to think, create and slow down. I wanted to step away from screens for a while and reconnect with something more physical. So I started painting on canvas.

But very quickly, I realized that I did not just want to create something beautiful.

I wanted my paintings to have meaning.

Like the dashboards I was building, each visual element needed to tell something. Each composition needed to carry a story. Each canvas needed to represent something deeper than just a decorative object.

That is where the idea of Pictosso was born.

Pictosso came from the desire to bring our lives back to the center of everything. To create art that feels personal, emotional and meaningful.

Each Pictosso transforms our lives into a visual story. A minimalist artwork made of icons, dates and memories. At first glance, it is a beautiful object to hang on a wall. But behind each icon, there can be a moment, a photo, a video, a message, a song, a memory.

It is both physical and digital. Simple and deeply personal. Designed to be seen every day, shared with the people we love, and passed on through generations.

Pictosso is a feel-good project. It was created to bring positive emotions, to celebrate the moments that matter, and to help preserve the stories that make us who we are.

Because our lives deserve more than to be hidden in phones, folders and forgotten albums.

They deserve to be remembered. They deserve to be shared. They deserve to be placed at the center.
